Glenn Mitsui is a third generation Japanese American artist, graphic designer, and freelance illustrator. He also co-owns a Seattle based creative agency, Mitsui Creative, with his wife Arlene Mitsui.

Welcome! As a lifelong digital artist, I am excited to showcase my work that explores themes such as my family history, my love of the water, people and stories of Hawaii and the Japanese American experience in America. My artistic process involves using the computer to bring together many different mediums like painting, sumi, photography and the study of patterns and textures. I also create motion design pieces which enable me to tell an evolving story with my artwork. I hope my work speaks to some experience in your life or love of a time and place, and that you’ll be inspired to connect with me and share your stories.
